Nature

Dr. Frederick Lenz, Zen Master Rama, quotes on buddhism, enlightenment, nirvana, zen, tantra, tibetan and mahayana.

Nature is not something to conquer, but something to learn from or to merge with and be part of -- to dance with, celebrate.

Nature is the endless reflective pattern of existence in eternity. As I sit here watching the leaves and watching their patterns, I'm reminded of so many things I've seen in other planes and in other worlds.

The natural elements in the forests, mountains, deserts and large bodies of water, help shield you from the thought forms and auras of other human beings.

Nature is our friend -- trees, squirrels, grass, fields, meadows, oceans -- without people. Hike. Walk. Stroll. Bike. Swim. Be in a still place and feel eternity. Have a great time. Just feel it.

Spend time alone in areas of low population density, where you can feel the stillness. Go out into the desert or up into the mountains or to the ocean where there aren't too many people.

Take short walks in the park down a happy trail.

It is always easier to capture eternity in the falling snow or along the coast where the waves crash and in solitary and lonely places. It is the quiet places where it is easiest to feel eternity.

Take a couple of days by yourself and rent a nice cabin in some nice, happy place. Stay a day or two and meditate and take walks in areas that feel good to you. Find out who you are again. Remember.

We hide from ourselves by being with others.

It is good to take a weekend and just you, or you and your dog, head out into the wilderness. Walk by yourself. Be by yourself. It will help you in your search for stillness and perfection.

Walk in nature. Take the time to be still. Practicing arts, arranging flowers, doing some drawing, working on a computer, brings a sense of stillness into your life. Find things that make you feel still, that make you feel good.

Evolved people need to spend a great deal of time either alone or in areas of low population density. People who meditate are very sensitive. But that sensitivity is a double-edged sword.

Get in touch with nature. The stillness of nature is profound and yet subtle.

Have lots of plants in your house. Nature and plants understand something about stillness and silence. As you interact with the green world, you will find a peace will enter your life.

Plants can help you they have a very strong vibrational force. If you've made friends with several of them, they will come and aid you when you've reached that critical moment and you're at a crossroads of knowledge

I'm not speaking metaphorically, plants that you have in your house, or if you've ever made friends with a tree somewhere, there is a moment that these beings can aid you.

A walk in the woods can reveal many things, and it is a good time to practice transcendentalism. Look at a tree and realize it's not just a tree, its roots may go into the ground but it may also go into other worlds, other eternities.

You don't need to be recluse and stay away from people. But you have to set aside a lot of time for stillness. That is the only place there is real fulfillment. You need to slow it down.

If you thrive on the city energy it is necessary to leave the city frequently and to walk in parks, to get away from people. You are more sensitive than you realize. Find a spot that makes you happy.

It is important to have a certain amount of solitude just to clear your circuits. You will find that you can be very happy just being by yourself. Go to new places. It will cleanse your spirit.

It is most important to have time alone. To be alone is not to be alone. It is only possible to truly feel immortality when we are by ourselves.

It is only when we are by ourselves that we can know others. When we are with other human beings we are distracted. People try and dream us into their dreams.

As you become a powerful person, it becomes increasingly important to have periods of solitude. Take a weekend by yourself. Go up into the mountains or desert and check into a little cabin. Go by yourself.

Nature soothes us. Nature heals us, and something more, the woods are a place of power.

Any woods that are still surviving on this planet, those are powerful areas to have kept themselves free from the encroachment of the industrial societies of our earth.

We need to preserve these sacred locations for ourselves, for the species of plants and animals that coexist in harmony there, and for the future generations of humankind that will need to be refreshed, renewed and healed by them.

You can judge a civilization by its level of agreement with the green world. When people respect nature, it's a sign of a healthy situation. When they denigrate nature, it's a sign of an unhealthy civilization that will soon perish.

You can be alone too in the city streets, among the crowds. We are all alone.
